Zebra – EYFS Big Zebra & Little Zebra Class Miss Duroe, Miss Chapman – Miss Wilders & Miss Black

Look at how much fun we have learning in Zebra Class.

Nursery is part of the Early Years Foundation Stage of Education.

In Zebra Class we thrive to provide a stimulating learning environment for each and every child and give them a wide range of opportunities with which to learn and develop as individuals.

The children’s activities are planned using the revised Early Years Foundation Stage document which is divided into three areas and four specific areas.

Within Zebra Class we provide a range of child centred activities on a daily basis linked to our topic. All indoor and outdoor provision is linked to the Early Years Curriculum and provides children with the opportunities to explore, develop new skills and to share their creativity.

Our topic during the Summer Term is ‘How Does Your Garden Grow’ each week we explore a different text linked to How Does Your Garden Grow.

Here are some of the texts which we will be exploring:

Handa’s Surprise and more.

We will also explore non-fiction texts such as Healthy Eating to provide the children with a range of different types of stories: fictional and factual.
