Dear Brockley Families,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inform you that, due to the continuing difficult weather and dangerous road conditions, we have made the decision to close school for the day.

This decision was not taken lightly. A thorough risk assessment was carried out, considering all factors to ensure the safety of our children, staff, and families. We understand the disruption this may cause and how challenging it can be for families to make alternative arrangements at short notice. It is never easy to close our doors, and we hate to let you down. However, safety and well-being must always come first.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as necessary.
