Important Update: Changes to Wednesday’s Events Due to Hot Weather

Dear Parents and Carers,

Due to the hot and sunny weather forecast for Wednesday, we have made some changes to the day’s plans to ensure the safety and comfort of all the children.

• Morning activities and races will still go ahead, but we will be reducing the number of activities and aim to finish the races by lunchtime.
• After lunch, children will remain in the school environment where we can make use of natural shade.
• Parents are still warmly invited to attend the morning session, but please note that the picnic lunch has been cancelled as there is not enough shaded space for everyone to sit comfortably.
• We kindly ask that parents make their way home at lunchtime and return at the usual time of 3:10pm to collect their children.
• Please note that there will not be an early finish to the school day.
