Applications open for Derbyshire Primary School Places

If your child is due to start school next September – or move from infants to juniors – you need to apply for their primary, infant or junior place before Thursday 15 January 2026.  

Applying online is quick and easy and allows you to make changes to your application at any point up to the closing date. You'll receive an email to confirm your application has been received.  Parents who do not have access to the internet can complete a paper form which they can get by emailing our admissions and transport team  at admissions.transport@derbyshire.gov.uk or by calling us on telephone: 01629 537479.
