SEND Support Teaching Assistant Vacancy

 Temporary Contract to December 2026 although likely to be extended.

The position will involve working closely with pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, supporting their learning, wellbeing and inclusion within the school environment.

We are looking for someone who is nurturing, adaptable and committed to helping all children achieve their potential.

Please note that any offer of employment would be subject to the satisfactory completion of all safer recruitment and safeguarding checks in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE). This includes, but is not limited to:

• An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check with barred list information.
• Verification of identity and right to work in the UK.
• Satisfactory references.
• Verification of qualifications where applicable.
• Any other pre-employment checks required under KCSIE and the school's safeguarding procedures.
