Art & Design

This half term, the children are exploring painting and mixed media: light and dark.

They will be building upon their skills each lesson to create a final piece. The children will be learning the following:

• Tints and Shades
• Three Dimensions
• Painting Techniques 
• Composition
• Still Life

At the end of this unit of work, the children will be utilising the techniques explore to paint their own version of famous paintings from a variety of artists (such as Vincent Van Gough, and Monet).
