Welcome to Zebra Class.

Our class teacher is Miss Wilders and our teaching assistant is Mrs Shephard.

We have lots of fun learning together in Zebra Class, we enjoy exploring and playing inside and outside of the classroom in our lovely garden.

Here you can find out about what we are learning, our daily routines, important events and see what Early Years is all about!

  • Activities
  • Activities and topics are planned around children’s interests.
  • The Seven areas of the curriculum are catered for. The main areas in Nursery are Communication and Language, Personal Social Emotional Development and Physical Development. Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World and Expressive Arts and Design
  • Continuous provision is what we call the things that are available to the children all of the time e.g. a construction area, home corner, book nook, mark making, number,  sand and water play.
  • We sometimes ‘enhance’ these, following children’s interests e.g. making a role play area, give an area a theme, set up an investigation area and provide books about a certain topic.
  • We often provide a context for children develop different skills e.g. dinosaurs, growing, people who helps us, superheroes etc.
