Weather Update 28.04.25

Dear Parents and Carers,

As the weather begins to heat up, we want to ensure that all children remain safe and comfortable during school hours. Here are some important tips to help keep your child safe and cool while at school:

  1. Stay Hydrated: Please encourage your child to bring a water bottle to school. We will remind children to drink water regularly throughout the day.

  2. Appropriate Clothing: We recommend that children wear lightweight, breathable school uniform and a hat to protect from the sun. Please ensure that their clothes are suitable for the warm weather and allow them to stay cool and comfortable.

  3. Sun Protection: If your child requires sunscreen, please apply it before school. We recommend long-lasting sunscreen that offers protection for several hours, and if needed, we can remind them to reapply during the day. Children may also wear hats for additional sun protection.

  4. Breaks and Shade: We will ensure children have access to shaded areas and take regular breaks to avoid excessive exposure to the sun. During outdoor activities, we will encourage them to stay in the shade as much as possible.

  5. Health Concerns: If your child has any health concerns related to the heat (such as asthma or allergies), please inform us so we can provide additional support.

We appreciate your support in helping us ensure that all children stay safe and enjoy their time at school during the warmer weather.

If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
