We are thrilled to invite you to join us tomorrow, Wednesday 22nd January, at 2:30pm, as our resident illustrator, Sally Anderson, shares the incredible creative journey behind the stunning jungle-themed mural, which features contributions from every child at Brockley Primary School.

As part of this wonderful project, Sally has inspired the children and guided them in designing their own unique elements for the mural.

Here’s how your child was involved:

• Each child designed either a flower, leaf, or small insect to be included in the mural.
• Nursery, Reception, and KS1: Younger children drew their designs directly onto the wall using Posca Pens, with Sally’s guidance.
• KS2: Older children created stencils of their designs, which they painted onto the mural.

We would love for you to see the mural and meet Sally. However, we understand that due to the short notice (as Sally has completed the project ahead of schedule), this may not be possible. Rest assured, we will share another date soon for you to pop in and admire this magical creation.
