Cast Your Vote for the Children's Parliament Interim Leadership - Voting Closes at 20:00, Thursday Dec 14

    We trust you are well.

As a valued past or present member of the Sir David Amess Children's Parliament - your voice is crucial in shaping our future leadership.

The time has come for us to elect our new Interim Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, and your participation is vital in this process.

The Finalists spent yesterday in Westminster, conducting a tour of the House of Lords, watching a debate in the main House of Commons Chamber, hanging out in the House of Lords offices in Millbank, and recording final interviews on the Green in front of Parliament. These can all be viewed on the link.

Voting began yesterday, Wednesday, December 13 at 20:00 and will close at 20:00 on Thursday, December 14. The results will be announced on Friday morning, December 15, 2023.

Please visit the following link: www.wakelet.com/@childrensparliamentelection

Once there, navigate to the 'It's time to cast your vote' Collection, where you can access the final interviews of the candidates recorded this afternoon. This will provide valuable insights into their vision and plans.

After carefully considering your options, please cast your vote by emailing your choice to:  harry@childrensparliament.uk.

Your involvement in this democratic process will determine the leaders who will represent and advocate for the interests of the Sir David Amess Children's Parliament supported by Wakelet and Microsoft 365 - and backed by The Express and The Week Junior.

Keeping Everyone Safe - Christmas Performances

Keeping children safe at Brockley is one of the most important jobs we have as a school therefore we must insist that you do not film or photograph the show.

Please do not post photographs of any children online without permission from their adults at home.

At the end of the performance, you will be invited to take photographs of your child.

Please remember some of our children are at risk and are with us as a place of safety, posting photographs and videos could put them and their adults at home in danger.

  • Private Fostering

    Wed 06 Dec 2023

What is private fostering? Sometimes children or young people go to stay with someone who is not a close relative. If you are likely to stay in this person’s home for 28 days or longer, legally this is called private fostering. The person who is looking after you is a private foster carer, Children’s Services must be told because it is their job to make sure that children are looked after safely.

Follow the link to find out more and if you need to take action.
